Alyssa Flint, Founder

BA/BT ACU, Melbourne

Alyssa's passion for all things STEM is founded in her days as a child exploring the world around her. She continued this interest through to her tertiary education studying a Bachelor of Arts (Science) and Bachelor Teaching at Australian Catholic University.

Working as a classroom teacher, STEM was always at the core of learning experiences. Students were engaged in dynamic and forward thinking lessons.

Lessons that provided students with a multifaceted approach to thinking and learning. Most recently Alyssa worked as a STEM specialist teacher where she honed her skills and embraced her passion for STEM. The years spent in the STEM classroom highlighted the need for STEM related experiences both in and out of school.

Coming from a family of girls, where there were no boundaries for learning, Alyssa is a strong advocate for Girls Education particularly that of girls in STEM. She has provided girls with the opportunity to participate in Coding competitions as well as the Science Talent Search.
